As an early backer of the first Apple Watch, the OneDrive app was a simple way to view photos on-the-go and receive real-time sharing notifications, fulfilling the OneDrive value prop of anywhere access.
This work represents the first wearables project on the team and it was primarily an exercise in paring down elements to the essentials. The app had a simple navigation and photo-viewing model, which adhered to Apple's first watchOS guidelines.
This work also helped shape how the team thought about the wearables space in general. Others were able to learn from the work done on this project.
